How It Works
SkiffDeals is built around one goal: make sure that if a skiff, Gheenoe, or flats boat is for sale anywhere in the USA, it shows up here. We do that through three channels working together.
Web Aggregation
We continuously scan the places where skiffs are actually bought and sold and surface everything in one feed. That includes the big marketplaces, but more importantly it includes the private forums and tight-knit communities where the best deals live. A huge share of good used skiffs never touch Boat Trader or a Google search. They get posted in a members-only classifieds section or a Facebook group, seen by a few hundred people, and sold. Unless you already know where to look, those boats are invisible. We bring them into the light.
For sellers: free traffic to your boat
Every aggregated listing links straight back to your original post. Your ad gets in front of buyers who would never have found it, and every click lands on your listing, not ours. It's free advertising while your boat is for sale.
For buyers: deals you can't find on your own
Because we source from private forums and communities, you see boats that never appear on the big marketplaces, and forum-priced boats are routinely cheaper than dealer-adjacent sites. One search here covers water you didn't know existed.
Sources we aggregate from include:
- Microskiff.comhttps://microskiff.com
The most active dedicated microskiff community online. Their classifieds are members-territory that most buyers never see, and one of the best places to find Gheenoes, Beavertails, and technical poling skiffs below open-market prices.
- Facebook Marketplace & Groupshttps://facebook.com/marketplace
Where most private-party skiff sales actually happen now, especially in the Southeast. The dedicated buy/sell groups are invite-yourself communities where boats move fast and are often priced below market.
- Craigslisthttps://craigslist.org
The classic free classifieds network. Regional boards from Florida to Texas to the Carolinas still turn up cheap hulls and project boats daily.
- Boat Traderhttps://boattrader.com
One of the largest online marine marketplaces in the country, covering both dealer inventory and private sellers.
All aggregated listings link directly back to their original source, so sellers keep every inquiry and buyers deal with the real owner. We're the map, not the destination. Own a boat listed here and want it updated, claimed, or removed? Email us and it's handled same day.
Direct Seller Listings
Any private seller, fishing guide, outfitter, or small dealer can list their boat directly on SkiffDeals for free, no account required, no listing fee, no commission. Just fill out the form and your boat goes live alongside everything else.
This fills the gap that aggregation can't. A lot of the best skiff deals never make it to Craigslist or Boat Trader, they get posted in a Facebook group, mentioned on a forum, or passed word of mouth. By giving sellers a dedicated place to list, we capture boats that would otherwise never show up in a search.

Dealer & Brand Partnerships
We work directly with skiff dealers and manufacturers to get their inventory published on SkiffDeals the moment it's available, new builds, demo boats, and certified pre-owned inventory alike.
The skiff world is small and relationship-driven. Most of the best builders, Hell's Bay, Beavertail, South Dade Skiffs, are small operations that don't have a massive online marketing budget. A partnership with SkiffDeals puts their boats in front of exactly the right audience without the overhead of a big platform.

Why This Matters
The flats fishing and backcountry skiff market is fragmented. Buyers spend hours checking Craigslist in multiple cities, scrolling Facebook groups, and digging through forum classifieds, and still miss deals. Sellers post in one place and wonder why their boat isn't selling.
SkiffDeals fixes both sides. One search, every boat. That's the whole idea.
